Cost shouldn't be what stops you
Tuition is $800 including books, supplies and uniforms. Pay in full, split it across the course, or put $150 down and finance the remaining $650 with no credit check.

Program overview
Welcome to Caring Hearts Training Academy. This is a 75-hour program — 59 hours in the classroom and 16 hours of clinical education — conducted over three weeks.
How the hours break down
Classroom theory & lab simulation
59 hrsInstruction plus supervised skills practice on lab equipment, so nothing on the unit is a surprise.
Clinical, hands-on training
16 hrsTwo full 7a–3p days caring for real residents in a long-term care facility.
What you'll be able to do
- 01Communicate effectively with residents and their families
- 02Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
- 03Assist with activities of daily living while respecting residents' rights
- 04Perform basic first aid and take accurate vital signs
- 05Observe, document and report changes in a resident's condition
- 06Carry out infection prevention measures
Upon successful completion
You receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to sit for the Ohio state exam to become an STNA. Our program is approved by ODH.
Optional add-on
CPR, AED and first aid certification is taught and certified by our partner Sam B. Fingerprints. Optional, not mandatory, and not included in tuition.

Confirm your enrollment by making a payment — either the full tuition or the registration fee. You can also register by enrolling in our 3 or 6 month payment plans.

Finish every step
All enrollment steps must be complete to guarantee your spot in the class — including your documents and orientation. If they aren't followed, we won't be able to enroll you.

Tuition & how to pay it
Effective 4/1/25, tuition for the STNA program is $800.00 and includes books, supplies and uniforms. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the first day of class. If you finance through Credee, the $150 registration payment is made here and Credee covers the remaining $650.

Payment policies
Third-party payments
We accept third-party payments, but the vendor must pay all fees in full for the student to receive their certification. If funds are not paid in full by the vendor, financial responsibility is directed to the student.
If you can't attend
Your registration fee may be applied to a future course within two years — but you must tell us at least one week before class starts by emailing caringheartstrainingacademy@gmail.com. Otherwise the fee is forfeited and must be paid again.
Refunds
Refunds are not available. Please be sure of your class choice and schedule before you register — and call us first if anything is unclear. We're happy to talk it through.

What you need to enroll
The list is short. To be eligible for admission to our course, applicants must meet the following requirements.
- 01At least 16 years of age
- 02Valid government ID and Social Security card
- 03PPD test (1 step)
- 04Comply with vaccination / waiver requirements

About Caring Hearts
We are committed to cultivating the skills and knowledge required for a career as an STNA in the state of Ohio. Our program is approved by the Ohio Department of Health, and we teach it in small groups from our training center on Northland Boulevard — so nobody gets lost in a crowd.
